I've answered this question a lot. So excuse me if I don't want to type it out again. =] The thread right below your comment explains how I did it. Not how I would make it now a days but its a very simple and easy way to make it.
I printed out this 1.bp.blogspot.com/-1pIDp60Zx10… like 2 or 3 times and outlined on it the pieces so i could get an idea of how they all connect if i were to make it piece my piece. I then compared the pieces to the drawing and where they would fall on me and measured it, cut it out and sewed it. I used regular ol fake leather and underneath I wore fake leather looking pants I already had which i sewed pieces onto and as for the shirt I wore just a long sleeve black shirt and a black corset. The two days comes from me already having some of the things I was planning on wearing but putting it all together and making the fake leather pieces was 2 days work only.
Ah yes. We all start out with really shit cosplays (excuse my french). I'd just say make sure it isnt something youre attached to . I'd say the Dark Brotherhood mage robes were quite easy to make though. Anyroad, if ever you need anything feel free to ask or you can check out the tutorials KamuiCosplay puts up on youtube they're oh so very helpful and she's a fantastic cosplayer!
wow this is soooo awesome :"D Do you have any tips to share in regards to how you did this? (I was thinking about making my own dark brotherhood assassin costume for some cosplaying next year) XD I can't get over how epic this looks :"D awesome job
hmm yeah i didnt really have a pattern i had to rush it for an event 2 days later so i sat around and measured on myself and started at a picture... then copied my measurments and the pieces onto some pleather... at first its sort of confusing to understand what connects to what in what way but after you make sense of the puzzle it gets easier. Thanks a lot friend, best of luck to you. Sorry i couldnt be more help i never really had a set plan for this.
